- Discord markdown uses ** for bold, __ for underline and ~~ for strikethrough. Don't copy asterisks or underscores from decorated styles into messages unless you want the formatting to trigger.
- If a style contains **, __ or ~~, put a backslash before those symbols or choose a style without them.
- Some servers block or auto-rename nicknames that are hard to read or mention-unfriendly. If it gets reset, try a simpler style such as bold or italic.
