Font Changer Mate is a free tool that turns plain text into 100+ styled Unicode looks, such as bold, cursive, bubble, gothic and upside-down text, that you can copy and paste into bios, names, captions and chats.
How it works
These are not font files. Unicode contains many alphabets that happen to look like styled letters, for example the mathematical bold letters or the circled letters. The tool swaps each plain letter for its look-alike, so the result is ordinary text that pastes almost anywhere.
The conversion runs in your browser. The text you type is not stored and is not sent to our servers.
What it cannot do, and why we say so
- It styles English (Latin) letters A to Z and digits 0 to 9. Other scripts and punctuation stay unchanged.
- Some apps and devices have no glyph for a rare character and show an empty box. Bold, italic and bubble styles are the safest.
- Styled letters can be read poorly by screen readers and are not matched by search, so use them for short, decorative text.
We do not publish converters for scripts we cannot style correctly. A fake converter wastes your time, so those pages wait until they can be done properly.
How we write and review guides
Every guide on the blog shows its author, the date it was published and the date it was last updated. Platform limits and steps are re-checked when a guide is updated, and each guide lists who reviewed it.
